Between pregnancy, birth the postpartum period, and even doula life, sometimes we can get a little lax in our self care. Everything seems more important than us, and we all know that making wellness a lifestyle is actually pretty hard work.
This week, I found myself looking in the mirror and thinking “Beloved, when did you get so ashy?”
Sometimes, ashiness is a state of mind, more than actual dryness of the skin. In my case, it’s because I’ve been running to and fro, loving on everybody, but not taking time to treat myself. (What would Donna Meegle think?!)
The good news is though, since I’ve got a solid foundation of self love, and a community of support, the only thing I need to do is tap into it, to get my wellness game back on track.
So I officially declare this Glow Up Season! Wellness on fleek! Get excited!
(Do the kids still say on fleek? Probably not. #thirtysomethingproblems)
